Yorkshire Hero Pea

A lovely, reliable heirloom that produces sweet, crunchy fresh peas. Plants are productive and quite tall (can grow to over a metre), requiring trellising. Yorkshire Hero has been popular for over a hundred years, with Breck's 1912 "High Grade Seeds Catalogue" describing it as "of extra fine quality." Always remember that peas can provide nitrogen to your soil! Open pollinated.
